Decided to take a short break (as if I have not enough breaks) today to go to Vivo.

Got a top, a dress and a 3 quads from F21! *Happy*
And I think it's the weather, I was feeling so lazy the whole day.

And treated daddy and mummy to dinner at this Thai place @ Sunshine Plaza.

The food was not bad.
Though mummy finds the food too spicy. Even finishes up my drink!

The mcdonald's monopoly frenzy is seriously setting in.

While I was seriously concentrating on my GKS essay, I received an sms from Bella,
"I won an apple product from the Mac monopoly!"

Gees, I was sooooo excited for her!
And then she replied


" I won an APPLE pie for freeeee!"

DOTS. DOTS. DOTS.

So irritating!!! And she had so much fun laughing at me!
Grrrrr make me excited for nothing.. I have FREE fillet, fries and sooo many apple pies la!
Give you all in exchange for a joo chiat to get a REAL APPLE itouch. Haha.


In the midst of assignments...

Just finish trying out the Science experiment for ACS.

I am supposed to heat a blown balloon vs a balloon filled with water and show that the first one will burst and the latter does not.

Obviously, the kiasi me will do lotsa preparation beforehand (to protect my ears and eyes haha) cos I was seriously scared!!!
Subconsciously, I made my balloon so small that all the air was released by the time I finish preparing myself for it! LOL.

After several attempt, this is the biggest size that I dare to work with:

Though I already know the results beforehand, I was still amazed that the water-filled balloon did not burst!
So I think our experiment has passed the test of an interesting and inquiry based experiment. LOL.


My heart is still beating quite fast now.
Can't believe I have to do it again on Tuesday! *faints*

Dong's lesson today was the usual.
Rushing through questions with G-bai, T-bai and lotsa question marks in our head.
Had to control my laughter so much during tutorial.
Cos cheeky vini keeps writing funny comments on my paper.Haha.

Was so frustrated with Jia today that I decided to go Vivo on my own after lesson.
And so happen my supposed-telepathy friend smsed me and asked me out for lunch. LOL.
So met her at vivo instead.
Went for ' Love happens' after much persuasion.
But the movie turned out to be such a disappointment =(
Not that the movie wasn't good, but it wasn't as sweet as what the title suggests.
In fact, it wasn't sweet at all! boo...

Headed down to Chinatown to get the chain for YH's necklace and I got lotsa toiletries. Haha.
New hair dye! Shall dye my hair soon =)
Dinner at Mac after that.
Seriously, I HATE MCDONALDS!!! The stupid monopoly game is toooo addictive and sinful! arghhh..

I realise I have this friend that is poles (I think wall is a better description haha) apart from me.
Seriously, our points never get through each other at all!!!
To a point it got us quite frustrated with each other but we keep continuing with our "debate".

Watched 'My sister's keepers' after that.
Quite a heart warming movie and you could hear sniffing and nose blowing throughout the show.
No kidding! Haha I could hear some guys sniffing too!
It really sets you thinking what happened one day if someone falls ill *touch wood* and really, kinship is the most valuable possession one can get in their life.
And my tears can't stop flowing!
While we were walking out of the cinema, it was so funny cos you see so many puffed up faces from all the crying! (Luckily mine wasn't that bad.hehe)

And I FINALLY satisfied my weeks-long craving!
Had Ajitsen crayfish ramen for dinner! *yummy*

I managed to finish my ACM4o1 reflection in the midst of all the shows, blog reading and fb-ing.
This shows how lame this assignment was.Haha.

It has been quite a dramatic day today.

Still sleeping in the morning when my lecturer called me and the first thing she said was " You are gonna fail ya test construction."

Seriously WTH.

I guess she lost 3/4 my assignment =_='
Though I am like 100% sure I handed in everything.
Although she says just to print out wad was being left out I decided to print out everything immediately after putting down the phone.
I am not gonna risk another sudden wake up call like that.LOL.
So went to print everything out immediately after the phone call. Without even brushing my teeth. yet. HAHA.
humph.. waste my toner and paper. Close to 40pages assignment! zzz..

But Jia treated me to mac breakkie after that which totally makes me day =)

Dreading school more and more each day. I only love wed! Together with my giam berng friends. LOL.
Cheap thrills every week. Laughing at everything. HAHA.
Today was portrait drawing. LOL

Despite the piling assignments, I can't help but switch to the post- exam mood! HAHA.

Weekend was great =)
Met up with cliquey on Saturday night together with my "mystery guest". tsktsk.
Both of us were having so much fun shopping around and hiding from Bella cos we were so afraid of spoiling the "surprise".

Dinner @ Modesto.
Personally, I felt the food wasn't that great, except for the fungi pasta (haha though the name sounds gross.)
But it was still a nice dinner laughing and catching up on each other's lives =)

I have always opposed to HF's hallucination of herself looking like a Korean (cos all the AT says so when she's in Beijing).
I was quite speechless when even serene said "Yea.. actually you do look like a korean..."
Until she added the word MAN.
I was laughing so hard that I almost spit my water out. LOL.
They are just so fun to hang around with =)

Headed down to Bugis for another round of dessert.
Supposed to be at Liang Seah but ended up @ TCC instead.
Another round of laughter and chit-chats.
Seriously, I really feel the impact of aging after 21.
I can see from the change in our topics over time.. haiz. LOL

Caught 500days of summer today!
It has got to be my favourite movie so far =)


Thought it was just another romantic comedy but ended up to be something more close to heart.
How true it is when you thought that someone might be the one for you, but when you look back at it, you realise he/she is the one cos you only see the good and not the bad side of him/her.
And when love is concern, it's not only love but many other factors come into place.

Totally love how the movie is being delivered, which is so different from the usuals.
Yes, the leads were just so charismatic!
And, I love the soundtracks!


End of the day with a super filling dinner @ HK cafe.
Haha.. I guess it's the aunty mentality.
I signed up for the member card too.. Now the three of us have the 好朋友 card already!! LOL.


What a nice way to end the weekend, forgetting about the 4 assignments that are due in 2 weeks time.
But then again, it's MONDAY again tomorrow!

I met JY at the bus stop today and the first thing I heard was "There was a flood in Cambodia."
I have not been checking my yahoo mail for a long time and I didn't realise Mr. Pean sent us an email telling us the flood has affected the orphanage.

On my train ride home, I keep thinking about what is happening at the orphanage now.

When we went to Cambodia last year, I really see Mr Pean's determination to build a home for the children which they can call their own- building classrooms, dorms, growing crops, building roads...

It seems like what we do in our games, just that this was real and require alot of hard work cos everything is built from scratch.
But his effort over the years seems to be washed away overnight by the flood =(

How are you ? We hope you are doing well. We would like to inform about the children in our care at orphanage in Cambodia they are getting poor health after some things were destroyed by flood.

On the 30^th September mid night The Orphanage has flooded, most orphanage’s properties was destroying.

The rice we keep to provide while of October to December it was broken about 70 %

The cements bough for volunteer’s house building it was broken about 3 tons.

All orphanage’ crops at garden ( Chinese cabbages, Tomatoes , Papayas …) it was destroyed 100 %.

The fishes at the ponds about 45000 gone outside,

The road to connect from main road to orphanage was destroy about 60 %

Many chickens was lost and died.

Above things that always support the children in our care were lost. So we are seeking support from the charity people to contribute our needs.

W would be appreciated if you can support our urgent needs, specially FOOD SUPPLIES it will run out of store next week. Pls check attach to get pictures.

The impact on the orphanage seems huge.
The only consolation is that the children are safe =)

Some of my team mates have started some fund raising for the orphanage.
And JY has set up a blog hopefully to raise more awareness.

Totally loving the weekend.
And then it's back to the routine week of meetings and assignments.

Went FEP yesterday after dinner and I cut my hair!
I kinda went in on impulse cos I have not tried it before.
But no regrets.. cos the people in there were rather nice and funny.
I think they are quite professional too.
I kinda like my hairdresser though he keeps "critising" my hair. LOL.
A true blue perfectionist.
Snip of about 3 inches of my hair and now I have short hair!!!
Feel much lighter and fresher now! =)

Rushed home after tuition today to do up the powerpoint so I could accompany yihui to go get some of her formal wear.
Itchy backside wants to go down to the COMEX fair again.
And I got my mini lappy!
Like finally =)
It was a super good deal!
Thanks to my dear laoda for her super sharp ears. hehe.
Accompanied her to G2000 after that.
Spent almost 2 hrs inside la! *faints*
Hahaha I concluded she needs a super patient boyfriend next time.
